Calibres & Distances
To keep your targets safe and long-lasting, please follow the guidance below. Using a target outside the recommended calibre/velocity/distance can cause pitting, cratering, or penetration.
- Airgun Targets (3mm Mild Steel): For sub‑12 ft/lb air rifles/pistols only. Use at sensible airgun distances and avoid high-energy FAC airguns.
- Rimfire (6mm Hardox® 450): Designed for .22LR / .17HMR rimfire use at typical rimfire distances. Avoid close-range, high-velocity impacts.
- Centrefire (10mm Hardox® 500): Built for centrefire rifles up to the stated velocity limits when shot at the recommended minimum distances for the calibre. Higher-velocity rounds (e.g., .22‑250) will cause the most damage if used too close or outside limits.
