Fenix HM50R Headlamp

Fenix HM50R rechargeable head lamp Is the first of a new rechargeable series that offer the utmost quality of design and function intended for use in the harshest outdoor conditions on the planet, including high altitude climbing.

HM50R is ultra compact, tough, light weight, waterproof, impact resistant and cold resistant . For the most extreme conditions the supplied 16340 rechargeable lithium battery can be swapped out for a CR123 non rechargeable lithium battery which will give protection down to - 40 degrees c.

The product can be used as a headlamp or removed from its silicone holder for use a mini torch. Fenix HM50R is charged via the supplied USB to micro USB cable (can be used with either a mains charger or charged on the go with a rechargeable power bank that features a USB output socket)

The single side switch controls 4 brightness levels up to a Max output of 500 lumens and a Max run time of 128 hours. Outputs levels are tuned to offer the maximum run time, so the higher brightness levels will automatically reduce to a lower level in order to achieve this. Please see graph below. The headlamp features a mode memory to recall your last used setting. A battery level indicator is also built - in to keep you updated on remaining power.

Battery level indication:
With the headlamp switched off, single click the switch to display the battery level for 3 seconds:
Green constant on: more than 80%
Green flashes: 50% - 80%
Blue constant on: 20% - 50%
Blue flashes: less than 20%

Charging
Remove the dust cap and plug the Micro USB cable into the charging port of the headlamp. Once charging is completed, be sure to remove the charging cable and replace the dust cap. The max charging current is 700mA, and the charging time is about 1.5 hours. The indicator displays blue when charging, and turns green when fully charged. The headlamp can only be used on Med output when charging.
